Shalom Dear Families,

Welcome Back!!!!  I am looking forward to seeing you and your children on Sunday, September 15th for the first day of PreGan - Dalet Hebrew School.  

Please make sure to join Rabbi, Cantor, and I at the Back to School Assembly at 9 AM in the Sanctuary.  After the assembly, parents will go with the teachers to see the classrooms and learn more about the program.  Students will remain in the sanctuary. Please note that PreGan (PreK) and Gan (K) students will have a typical day that starts with a drop off in the Playground.  Feel free to join us in the Sanctuary after you drop off your youngster.

From the Parent/ Family Handbook

DROP OFF -

PreGan (PreK) and Gan (Kindergarten) will be dropped off at the playground on the side of the building. Morah Mira and Morah Bari will let you know if there are changes due to weather.

Kesher - Dalet may be dropped off at the bottom of the stairs or walked into the Grand Hall. We request that parents do not walk their students to class to help with the transition.  

PICK UP - 

There is NO PICK UP line on SUNDAYS.

PreGan (PreK) and Gan (Kindergarten) students must be picked up by an adult at the playground on the side of the building. Morah Mira and Morah Bari will let you know if there are changes due to weather.

Kesher and Mechina students must be picked up by and adult or much older sibling.  They may be picked up in the Grand Hall or the bottom of the stairs. 

Aleph - Dalet students are brought to the bottom of the stairs to be picked up by parents.  We prefer that students do not walk into the parking lot unescorted.

Aleph - Dalet may be dropped off at the bottom of the stairs or walked into the Grand Hall. We request that parents do not walk their students to class to help with the transition.  

PICK UP - 

WE ARE HAVING A PICK UP LINE ON WEDNESDAY EVENINGS

The safety of our students is of the upmost importance. Therefore we will have a pick up line on Wednesday evenings.

Please enter and exit through Almshouse Road. Follow the arrows around the parking lot and stop at the overhang by the Vet’s Office (1).  Cars will be filled in the area from the overhang to the end of the sidewalk. (2)  Cones will be in place as indicators. After all cars in the loading zone are loaded, then they will be able to leave.  Please do not leave the line before all the cars are loaded as there will be children in the road.  Cars proceed to the overhang and groups of cars will be loaded until all students are picked up. 

You may park in the center parking area (3) and come into the building to pick up your student(s).

NO STUDENTS WILL BE PERMITTED TO WALK INTO THE PARKING LOT ALONE.

If there are cars already in the Pick Up Line, Tichon students should be dropped off in the middle row of the parking lot and walk carefully to the sidewalk.  Tichon students will also be picked up at the bottom of the stairs.  No need to park cars.
